So I will be staying at the Chalk Lane Hotel in Epsom for my first week of living there. It looks like a quaint and cute boutique hotel. It's about a 15 minute walk away from the office, so we'll see if that week in Epsom will change my mind about the living situation. I still want to live in Clapham in London - kind of half way to the country and close enough to the parts of London that I know well.
I met and talked to a coworker on the phone yesterday, his name is Andrey. He has been in Epsom now for one year and his insight in moving there has been very helpful. I apparently will be sitting near him too, so I feel like I've made my first friend (aside from those I met in June of course).
The days are ticking away...and now that I have a place to stay (for at least one week up to one month), it seems that much more real.
