The Night Before

I have to say, our reunion was pretty fantastic. Gina had come into town the day before the boys and we made our way to platform 8 at Wimbledon station to pick them up. It was a joyous reunion indeed, with running and hugging and blocking the platform. But screw those Brits…this was a reunion of epic proportions. I hadn’t seen my boys since January and the four of us hadn’t been together since before that…in fact, last November, just before my move to the UK. Funnily enough though, it felt like we had never spent that much time apart. I love it when that happens.

The met Dee (finally) and we head out to Mae Ping for some Thai and Dee was quickly adopted...then off to the flat where we feasted on the remains of my red velvet cake from my Come Dine with Me dinner the night before. There was lots of drinking and catching up but what we really couldn’t believe was the trip that was months away was now only 1 sleep to go. Our journey would take us from London Heathrow to Athens for three days, followed by a hydrofoil to Mykonos for 6 days, the jetting back to London for 2 days…2 weeks in total, and we knew it would go by real fast.
