an hommage to 2 of my fave guys

hopefully you can forgive me for not posting for the past few weeks but i've been busy. i've had a few posts below to catch up so don't forget to scroll down.

so this was a tumultuous week for the crew in london. golden erik had his last day, bim had her hen night (see the next post) and hoho had his birthday.

so, golden erik.


GE is my office 'ex-husband'. i dumped his ass when i suggested we try a different pub instead of the same ol' same ol' and he got all stroppy about it. GE doesn't like change. so i dumped him and that's when raveen proposed and a new office husband was born. but i digress. i'll miss GE and his daily visits. his gullibility, his american accent because he learned english whilst watching friends, how he swears in norwegian when we play foosball and i kick his ass, his blocking me from msn when i piss him off (in a funny way) and his power naps in the mens toilets. he's a gem that GE. i was quite sad to see him go.

so i was impressed when his goodbye drinks were not at stone horse paper cow, but at the water poet. he broke away from tradition. i was so proud.

saturday was spent in hoho's back yard - he has such a great garden. it goes on and on and there's lots of foliage (all edible) and a bbq area set with an ironing board/chef's table.

i got there a bit late but the food was already being served. like many of our bbqs in the past - lamb, chicken, sausage, pork and steak, covered in montreal steak spice (a gift from me to hoho from bbqs past). the sad thing about that night was regardless of how much i drank, i felt nothing. perhaps it was all that meat? so instead of having a vodka/rum/some sort of ecuadorian sambuka and cava shot, oh and a coffee with whiskey hangover, all i got was some meat sweats and a meat hangover. can you believe it?

but it worked out for me in the end. i woke up ok and ready to pack, and pack i did. for the move to the new place in clapham, for the move to canada, and for the holiday i go to the day after i move. lordy lordy!

so not sure if i'll post in time, but i'll take a bit of a hiatus from the blog. unless i have some time to post a few things on holiday!
