yet another goodbye

what started out as a large, rowdy and fun family in epsom is slowly dwindling to a very sad unit. we saw rob leave (but soon to return), then jeli jr., basar, golden erik, and now, we say goodbye to bim. my nigerian goddess.

bim will be one of the people i miss the most, and here's why:
  • she's nosy....and lucky she was because on day one she walked up to me and said 'who are you'. it was like kindergarten all over again.
  • her 'isms'...she taught me one of the best phrases yet 'ladies what do...' could be lunch, could be champers...either way. she' also taught me 'innit do' and the latest is 'i feel like efnik food'. bless.
  • her love of food...its actually stronger than mine
  • her heart...its always in the right place
  • her generosity...even when she's a little strapped herself (hello...moving, getting married), she still finds a way to give
  • her patience....you have to be patient to be friends with me
  • her understanding, of all things target and primani
  • and mos t importantly, her belief to do the best with what you got!
now i know that a wedding in barbados and an impending move to nigeria will not stop bim from being my friend. but i will say, day-to-day life in london just lost a bit of its sunshine.

love you girl! and can't wait to see what trouble you get into. tim has no idea.... ;)
