ok, so the original plan was to find a pub in chelsea at noon and park myself down for the home opener: chelsea vs. portsmouth. however, that wasn't a reality, so instead i set my alarm for 6:25 a.m. and downloaded setanta sports online and watched it from the laptop on the tiniest screen ever...but never the less, i saw my boys kill portsmouth 4-0...with the first goal coming from my hero joe cole. it's going to be a GREAT season. can't wait to see my first chelsea game.
incidentally, if you check the blog from july 25, i had a dream chelsea won 4-0...wrong team maybe, but the score was spot on!
