my angel card was blank, but i chose 'gratitude'

yesterday was an interesting day. when i picked my angel card that day, it was blank, and for my own personal reasons, i needed them to tell me something! so i went forth with my day.

the first people i saw that day were a couple of guys i hadn't seen since june, and the reception they gave me was very welcoming. i got hugs, i got kisses, and i realizzed i had been missing those things for the past couple of weeks. it was nice to see people who weren't new to me, but returning favorites who showed me all the warmth and kindess i'd expect from the friends back home.

it wasn't hard for me to realized that my angel was gratitude.

i got to work and told nem about my encounter in the morning, and she has that way of giving you the warm fuzzies...that made me grateful too.

i was planning an evening of buying multi-vitamins when i got an email from aleksandra, a friend and coworker i also met in june. she was telling me that the entertainment committee were going to take salsa lessons and that i should come. she too, is another person i'm grateful for.

i have to say, the pints before, then the salsa lessons and the pints afterward were fantastic. i met a group of real nice coworkers, who like to have fun, are completely welcoming and i felt very comfortable with them. its a nice feeling. grateful for that too!

so there you go - nothing but gratefulness!

and jodie, i did shake what little my mom gave me, and the instructor told me i was wasting my talent on beginner classes. cha-ching! or should i say 'cha cha cha'.
