what a looooooooooooooooooooooong day...i decided to go for a walk so at 10 am, i went to check out the kensington gardens and palace. wow - quite beautiful. the park was full of folks running (man, one guy was grunting as he ran...seriously dude, it us totally unbecoming). from there i walked to south kensington, saw the tube was a nightmare, so kept on walking and made it to victoria station where i met my new 'landlord' louise. i get the keys to the placy on nov. 30...yay...i can move in at any time...yay...but will wait til the 7th for the big stuff where my friend alison will help me...yay. i then walked to westmister abby, checked out big ben, made my way up whitehall to trafalgar square, walked to leicester square and then thought...holy crap, i'm tired. i've been walking for over 5 hours. so, i made my way home. just uploading some pics and then going to walk the whole half block to whiteleys to go see quantum of solace. sigh, daniel craig is hot.
oh - i forgot about last night! i went out with miss larissa - haven't seen her since she left calgary 4 years ago, shortly after banana and kiki's wedding. such good times to catch up. i met some of her coworkers, a lovely gal named liz who i recognized as she was an actor in calgary as well, AND then met teresa and erin (who is from ontario)...so much fun! great fun to - the prince rupert just off baker street on the marleybone high street. apparently noel gallagher lives around the corner. coolio.
i'm going to make dinner tonight, skype with my little jonah, and then hopefully head for the cinemas.
oh - and as for football. i couldn't find the chelsea/newcastle game anywhere! it was all about england vs. south africa in rugby today. sigh. although gallas has gone and done it. he was stripped of his captaincy (sorry bananas). its one thing to be in your teammates face, but in the press? bad move capi-tan...bad move.
