a street full of fun

so i saw Avenue Q last night and i had so much fun watching this play. i mean, i absolutely adore musicals (and those who know me well are nodding in agreement reading this), but this one takes the cake.

first and foremost...the fact that the actors sang with such clarity let you hear every single lyric (even the naughty ones) which made the musical all that more funny. top that off with poking a little fun at sesame street (among other cult american kids classic shows) and it makes for a great night. even more for a canadian since Rod has a girlfriend named alberta who lives in vancouver. ha ha

anyhoo, i don't want to say too much about the play because it seriously would ruin it for you, and in that respect, i'm kinda bummed i knew a couple of the songs beforehand as well because it would have been more fun not knowing anything.

so please go if you can. its worth every penny.
