my new bedding on my king sized bed!

i've had a 'calgary' weekend ... can you believe it? on friday, i went for some pints afterwork with Bim Rich and Eric and all was good. had myself a little buzz on the train ride home (again) only this time the train ride was a mere 18 mins. yay! i made it home, had a chat with gailbaxter who now also has discovered the wonderful world of skype, and i dove into book 2: new moon. i'm addicted to these books but the obsession will diminish soon.

today was a shopping day! yowza. i found a dress for christmas - a nice black number and i think it looks good. i'm struggling to buy clothes here, my size isn't my size, and so when i go to the converted size, its a hit or miss and i if i go yet a size bigger, its too big. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. so this dress is a touch too big, but not so that you notice, although there's an extreme plunging neckline, so we'll see what i can do about that. looks like the girls are coming out for christmas!

i bought my duvet as well. they do 3-in-1s here, which is real cool. you get 2 duvets when put together are great for winter. but you can separate them, one is heavier than the other, so you have one for spring/fall and one for summer too. great idea!
