such a bad blogger...and now weeks have gone by and i need to try to figure out what i did...so, will have to go to a bulleted list. dear lord! what have i become????
at work i expressed my dismay that i step away from my desk for like, 10 minutes and get 20 messages and my friend says to me 'i wish i got 20 emails in 10 minutes...i am lucky if i get that many in one day' (or something to that effect). so, his wish was my command...i organized the ladies at work and he got somewhere near 50 within minutes. fun!
went and saw new moon with the ladies...so bad that i had to laugh. i think my expectations were so low that it actually wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. JUST KIDDING!
went to fitzrovia radio hour again - what a great concept. if you are ever in london, please do give this a shot! i know there are lots of touristy things to do here, but its the non-touristy things that make london, london.
had our final come dine with my, where dee made a killer (and probably the winning) meal. we ate so much food! there was five courses with a pre-starter starter of smoked salmon and cream cheese on blintzes, then salmon mousse with homemade irish soda bread and salad, then we had fish curry with jasmine rice, followed by her white chocolate raspberry cheesecake (my fave). it was a great night (and we wore our santa hats) and i can't believe its over! we'll know who the winner is in january. wish me luck!
went and saw the amazing kevin spacey at the old vic in 'inherit the wind'. what an excellent show. i can't say enough about the guy. you know how much i love james mcavoy and thing he's a great actor? well, he's got a long way to go before he hits kevin spacey credentials. the man is incredible.
i won a spirit award at work - how cool is that? it meant a lot to me...it was a rough year switching from oil and gas to environment, and then learning new industries to boot. sometimes i wondered if i made the right choice but clearly, i have.
anyhoo...so excited to go home for xmas. can't wait to see everyone and that time is coming so very soon. yay!!!
