Happy Easter and Happy Birthday

today was fun! after a sleepy start (i think we were really tired from walking everywhere yesterday) we ate brekkie and head out for south kensington. we spent a few hours at the national history museum, and this time we got to see the earth exhibit and then checked out the mammals. the line up for the dinos was over an hour long, but since most of the specimens come from the drum valley anyway, we figure we got a lock on the dino situation.

the earth bit was cool (and a little hot too) as i'm a big fan of geology (well, namely the rocks for jocks stuff like earthquakes and volcanoes). there was an earthquake simulator there. nothing major but enough to be a bit interesting.

and of course, i took a pic with my dodo. and not that i'm being completely self centered, but i think i'm the prettiest dodo i know.

we shlepped through hyde park for a couple of hours, checking out the princess diana memorial and strolling over to kensington palace before having to head home for dave's birthday dinner at cote bistro. i love that place. we wrapped it all up on a webcam session with the kiddies, my mom and auntie gina - who made it back from scotland in one piece.

anyhoo - i hope you all enjoyed your easter, and i hope dave had a great birthday!
