not another WWII film

so tonight i went and saw defiance, starring daniel craig, leiv schreiber and jamie bell. wow. it was a real good movie.

the movie is about four jewish brothers from poland who escape nazi persecution and hide in the woods. slowly, but surely, more and more jews hear about these men and in total, they save 1200 jewish lives.

its probably one of the lowest budgeted films when it comes to location, but they make up for it in authenticity. it was a good film, not like most other films about the attrocities that happened.

go see this movie, it's real good. and the music...so haunting. i somewhat laughed when i saw that musical score was the only nomination that defiance got at tonight's golden globes, but at the same time, if it doesn't win, it would be a tragedy.
